Procedure for Converting Digital Recorder Files to mp3
1. Turn on and set the digital recorder on the file (ABCDE) and number of file you want to convert. Take the digital recorder apart.
2. Insert the digital recorder in the USB slot.
3. Go to www.zamzar.com
4. Follow the 4 steps to upload your files.
a. Step 1: Browse and go to my computer to find the files on the digital recorder on USB removable drive
b. Step 2: Scroll and select mp3
c. Step 3: Email address to insert is podcast@fnwsu.org
d. Step 4: Select convert
(Files must be downloaded in 24 hours from email)
5. In the URL type www.fnwsu.org/webmail
6. Select Squirrel mail
7. Type the username as podcast@fnwsu.org and password as sheldon
8. Click on converted file, download file from zamzar, rename file in a shorter form. Example: ws 10035 Name 35 mp3
9. Save file in Mrs. Cote’s Share folder in Recording folder
